What programs does NACR offer?
The National Academy of Court Reporting offers two educational pathways: the Steno Court Reporting Program and the Voice Writing Program. Both programs are designed to prepare students for successful careers in the court reporting profession.
How do I know which program is right for me?
Both programs prepare students for rewarding careers in court reporting but use different methods to capture the spoken word. Our Admissions Office is happy to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and help you determine which program is the best fit for you.
How long are the programs?
Voice Writing Program: Approximately 12 months
Steno Court Reporting Program: Approximately 24 months
Program completion times may vary depending on each student's progress and successful completion of program requirements.
Will NACR prepare me for certification examinations?
Yes. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practical training needed to prepare for applicable certification examinations while also building the foundation for a successful, long-term career in court reporting.
Is instruction
offered online?
Yes. NACR is a fully online institution designed to provide students with the flexibility to learn from wherever they are while receiving structured instruction, guidance, and support from experienced instructors.
